Widget Function: Generate an attractive
web based survey or poll from a simple text file.
You can use multiple choice or text input questions.
Makes the front-end only, form processing is left up to you. Customize
the colors and look to match your website. Here's what to do:
In Word (or other text processor) save your survey as "Text Only".
Then paste this file into the input form below and submit. It's that
simple!
Be sure to place a blank line between questions. When the survey is
generated, choose "Save As" on the browser. Then hook it up to cgi/php/asp
to process the results.
Browser Requirements: Netscape 4.0+, Internet Explorer 4.0+.
Notes & Tips:
- If something goes wrong look for:
- The survey must have a title and instructions separated by blank
lines!
- Are there blank lines between questions?
- Text input should be indicated with underscores: _____
- Try out the example, just hit the submit button.
