Widget Function: Extract column data from an HTML table.

If you've tried to copy just one column of data from a table you know what a pain it is. It's a snap with this tool. You can then import the data into a database. You choose what columns to display. You may also specify a search string to choose the rows to display. You may have trouble with nested tables. Sometimes what looks like a single table is actually inside other tables. Most web pages use tables to format layout but have borders turned off so it is hard to tell. If you ever need to get data from a table, remember this widget!

If you know SQL, you can think of it as running an SQL query on an HTML table.
This widget is designed for flat tables. Tables within tables and colspans will give undefined results.
